Sloppy 2: Check-In

Hey Lovelies!

It's time for a Sloppy check-in!

I'm not sure if it's going to be a two-book or a three-book series yet. I mean, who needs a plan, right? Let's just let Roxy, our wishy-washy songbird, take the wheel and see where she leads us!

Now, when it comes to writing novels and fiction, it's like herding cats while juggling flaming torches—it takes time, finesse, and a whole lot of luck. So naturally, Roxy, being the free-spirited character she is, decided to throw my carefully crafted outline out the window. Thanks, Roxy! Over here, we finna let the characters do their thing, and chile.... does Roxy know how to make things interesting.

As of now, I'm knee-deep in the drafting phase, trying to keep up with Roxy's whirlwind of a life. Book 2 is shaping up to be shorter and more to the point. It turns out Roxy's life experiences gift her with a smidge of calm after a massive "big clean-up." Don't you just love it when life throws you a mop and says, "Here, clean up this mess"? But hey, at least Roxy and Silk are still going strong. Love conquers all, even in a world of chaos, spilled coffee and...foolishness.

However, it's not all sunshine and rainbows for our girl Roxy. She's facing some friendship woes. I mean, who needs reliable friends when you can have drama, right? But fear not, dear readers, because Roxy is still marching toward her dream of a full-time singing career. Will reality give her a reality check? Well, let's just say it's a roller coaster ride of dreams, doubts, and what ifs.

In the meantime, let's take a moment to celebrate because Sloppy just turned two!
